Getting to and from Piedmont

Transport to and from your trip:

Arrival and departure airports: Milano. Two Airports, Malpensa (MXP) and Linate (LIN). Linate is a little tough to get to and from, whereas Malpensa has better public transport connections. Torino (TRN) can work in a pinch as well. Bergamo (BGY) and Rome (FCO) will cause you nothing but headaches, Milano is your best bet.

Trip start: Generally we start the trip on a Sunday morning, but this is not etched in stone at all. We will pick you and your group up at the train station in Tortona. The drive to your first hotel in Acqui Terme is about 45 minutes.

• Connections to Tortona are frequent from Milano Cle. (Centrale) or Torino Cle. You want to aim for the 9h10 train departing from Milano or 8h28 departing Torino. That means you should be “local” the previous day.

Trip end - Shorter trip only (7 days): Group transfer at 11h00 from Monforte d’Alba to Asti train station.

Trip end - Longer trip only (8 days): You ride to the train station in Asti.

All TTT transfers happen as a group and during a pre-determined time frame. Individual transfers will cost extra.
