Terms and Conditions

Covid -19 Policy

Due to the ever-changing regulations in the countries that Two Tyred Tours (TTT) travels in we cannot accept unvaccinated guests.

As of March 07, 2022 any person that travels with TTT on a guided bicycle vacation is required to be Fully Vaccinated - prior to joining a trip with us.

“Fully Vaccinated” or “Full Recommended Doses” means the following:

Two doses plus a booster.

Prior to travelling with TTT, you must have received the Full Recommended Doses of one of the approved vaccines in your country of residence.

  • The full recommended doses must also meet the requirements of your country or countries of destination with TTT. Please see our pages on France and Italy for more information.

  • The last dose of any vaccine must have been administered at least three weeks prior to joining your trip with TTT.

  • Prior to your trip with TTT we must have a copy of your vaccination information including: Vaccine type and the date of all three vaccination doses.

  • During your bike trip with TTT you must be able to provide an official vaccination record to our hotels and restaurants that TTT uses for the duration of your trip.

  • TTT can help provide information regarding the entry requirements of your country or countries of destination, But the full responsibility to be aware of and comply with ever-changing and up to date regulations rests ultimately with each individual guest of TTT.

  • TTT’s Covid-19 Policy is subject to change as and when France, Italy or Switzerland changes their Covid-19 policy(ies).

  • All travellers with TTT must adhere to all health protocols and travel requirements applicable in the country or countries of travel.

Travel Insurance

Travellers are required to confirm that for the duration of the trip they have adequate insurance for medical care and emergency evacuation in the event of accident or illness during the tour. This must include the provision for emergency evacuation including ambulance and helicopter rescue.

LIABILITY

Two Tyred Tours SARL is not liable for bodily injury or property damage as a result of (but not limited to) participants' physical exertion for which a guest is not prepared, forces of nature, collisions with bicycles, pedestrians or automobiles, road conditions or travel by plane, train, auto, bike, boat or other transportation including bicycle or foot.

Two Tyred Tours SARL is not liable for accidents caused by consumption of alcoholic beverages; civil unrest; terrorism; breakdown of equipment; high altitude; lack of or limited access to medical attention in remote locations; and the adequacy of medical attention once provided.

Two Tyred Tours SARL is not liable for loss or damage to bikes whilst they are under control of of the rider. This also means that while the bicycle is unattended and or parked, you are ultimately responsible for its safety.

Two Tyred Tours SARL will not issue refunds for services not used during the trip.

Two Tyred Tours SARL is also not liable for expenses not specified as included in the trip, but which may be required to get to or from a trip start or end.

Two Tyred Tours SARL reserves the right to make route and hotel modifications as necessary for the comfort and safety of participants.

Two Tyred Tours SARL may take photographs or make film records of its trips for promotional and commercial use, as well as approving such use by third parties without financial remuneration.

Two Tyred Tours SARL may use any testimonials regarding services rendered for promotional and/or commercial purposes without any remuneration.

By making payment to Two Tyred Tours SARL for your trip you agree to the following code:

  • I have chosen a trip that suits my abilities, level of fitness and state of health.

  • I do not have any physical conditions or disabilities that are a hazard to me or other travellers.

  • I have a valid passport and all visas, permits, certificates and vaccinations required for travel.

  • I have adequate insurance for medical care in the event of an accident or illness during the tour. This includes the provision for emergency evacuation including ambulance and helicopter rescue.

  • I will make sure to communicate any special requests on the Pre-trip Questionnaire. This includes dietary needs/restrictions and medical requirements. I also understand the Two Tyred Tours SARL will do all that it can to accommodate special requests but cannot guarantee they will be possible.

  • I will respect the laws and customs of the countries visited.

  • I will follow environmental guidelines and regulations while on the trip in accordance with guide direction.

  • I will respect the rights and privacy of other trip members.

  • I understand that travel within a group invariably involves compromise to accommodate diverse desires, travel goals, personalities and physical abilities of all group members.

  • Two Tyred Tours SARL may be required to improvise and exercise good faith, use discretion and/or make decisions based upon safety and or the group consensus. These decisions may not always please each individual, but are intended to satisfy group safety and the larger desires of the group.

  • I understand that Two Tyred Tours SARL reserves the right to refuse service during a tour to anyone whose health or behaviour could impede the welfare or enjoyment of fellow guests or could be considered offensive to any of Two Tyred Tours SARL suppliers. An individual may be asked to leave a trip if the guide feels that the person's continuing participation may prove detrimental to the individual or the group.

  • I will always wear a helmet when riding.

  • I will not wear headphones when riding and I will drink alcohol responsibly.

  • If bringing my own bike, I will ensure that it is in sound mechanical condition for the chosen trip with Two Tyred Tours SARL.

  • If I am provided with a bike by Two Tyred Tours SARL, I understand that I am responsible for my bike, including loss or damage whilst it is under my control and care for the duration of the trip. In addition, I am responsible for my bike when it is parked and unattended. I will lock my bike securely at all times when I am not riding.

  • If I reserve extra services not included in the tour package such as massages, taxis etc, I am responsible for settling the full cost even in the event of a late arrival or a no-show.
