Train Travel to the Trip Start in Dijon, France

Paris to Dijon (Dijon to Paris). Direct trains depart Gare du Lyon to Dijon. There are no direct train connections from the Paris airport train stations of CDG or ORY to Dijon. This means that you must navigate your way through Paris using the Metro to the Gare du Lyon (allow for a 70 minute Paris transfer). This works well, especially if you are travelling light or have previously ridden the RER in Paris. Those of you dragging a fully loaded steamer trunk may want to take a taxi. Transiting Paris requires two RER changes and 3.5 hours to get to Dijon (no changes from Gare de Lyon). We can help you navigate the Paris Metro. Call us.

Lyon to Dijon. Not that convenient at all. Two changes and 4-5 hours. Choose a different route.

Geneva to Dijon (Dijon to Geneva). Works well, one change but 4-5 hours.
